ONE KID CAN CHANGE THE WORLD
At Faith Journey, we believe that one kid can change the world. Our kids (infant through 5th grade) experiences are safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.
We would love to see you and your family visit Journey Kids.
YOUR FIRST VISIT
Here's what to expect when visiting Journey Kids for the first time:
For your child's safety, we ask that every child get checked into our system. This allows us to have an accurate record of who is in the building in case of an emergency, and also ensures that you are the only one who gets to take your child home.
As your are checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
Parent/guardian name(s)
Child's name
Child's birth-date
Home address
Phone number
Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
Please see "How check-in works" directly below for more information on using the system.
HOW CHECK-IN WORKS
Before Service: You can check-in your child at the Journey Kids check-in kiosk located just inside the front lobby entrance. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.
Where to Go: One of our hosts will help guide you to your child's classroom.
Nursery (Age 0-3)
If you have a child that is age 0-3, we encourage you to check them into the system before service and take them down to our nursery.
Preschool/Kindergarten (Age 3-6)
If you have a child that is age 3-6 and is able to use the restroom on their own, we invite you to check them into the system before service and take take them into our preschool wing to be part of our preschool ministry.
Elementary (Age 6-11)
If you have a child that is in the 1st-5th grades, we would love to have you check them into the system before service. After that, they will go downstairs to their Journey Kids environment.
After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we will either text you or have one of our greeters come and contact you in the service. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.
